This is a new and exciting opportunity for an environmentally passionate ecologist to bring your skills to a well-established environmental consultancy to help protect species and work on land restoration projects.
This ecologist role is suitable if you have technical report writing knowledge and want to further your career development, within an enthusiastic team of environmental consultants and senior ecologists.

What''s involved with this ecologist Role:
* Writing Biodiversity Net Gain strategies
* Protecting species and re-homing protected species
* Collecting high-quality field data and supporting reporting tasks
* Working on sites across Derby and the surrounding areas
* Supporting senior ecologists with project delivery during peak season
* Writing technical reports

To be considered for this seasonal ecologist position:
* A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field
* Experience in ecological consultancy as an Ecologist or Senior Ecologist
* Strong technical field skills and ideally one protected species licence (e.g. bats, great crested newts)
* In-depth knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy is advantageous
* Located in or near Nottingham
