They need an experienced Ecological Clerk of Works to support the construction phase of a live project.As ECoW, you''ll be the main ecological advisor to the construction team. You''ll provide on-site oversight and make sure habitats and protected species are safeguarded throughout the build.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor construction activity for compliance with ecological legislation, planning conditions, permits, licences and method statementsSupervise works in or next to sensitive ecological areas, including vegetation clearance, earthworks and habitat managementAssess and manage ecological risk to protected species, including bats, breeding birds, badgers, reptiles, great crested newts, otters and water volesDeliver toolbox talks and site briefings on ecological constraints and best practiceKeep detailed site records, inspection reports and photographic evidence, and produce visit reports covering findings and actionsLiaise with project managers, contractors and other environmental and engineering disciplines to ensure compliance across the siteAbout YouEssentialDegree in ..... full job details .....
