ECandI Technician
We are supporting our client in the recruitment of an ECandI Technician to join their maintenance team at a major energy generation facility within a Top Tier COMAH site in Cumbria.The role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the site s electrical, control, and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operations 24/7.Key Responsibilities: Conducting PPM, defect repairs and fault finding on ECandI systems. Troubleshooting rotating and static equipment. Working with CMMS (Maximo), and ensuring safety documentation (RAMS, permits) is completed to standard. Supporting project scopes and supervising contractors. What We''re Looking For: Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Instrument or Control Engineering. Strong understanding of control loops, instrumentation, and ECandI safety regulations. Good working knowledge of risk assessments, method statements, and electrical schematics. Willingness to develop across both Electrical and CandI disciplines.
