I''m currently supporting a leading COMAH-regulated chemical manufacturing organisation, who are looking to recruit an experienced EandI Technician. This is a key role supporting the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of plant equipment within a complex industrial environment. - Salary: £ - Monday-Friday (days 08:00 - 16:00)Key Responsibilities Perform planned preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical, control, and instrumentation systems Diagnose faults and carry out effective troubleshooting and repairs Work within a permit-to-work system, ensuring full compliance Use engineering and ERP systems for work orders, maintenance planning, and materials management Support wider site engineering activities and improvement projects Provide cover for the EandI Coordinator when required Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards About You We''re looking for a hands-on engineer with a strong maintenance background in a similar heavy industrial setting. Essential: Time-served Electrical / Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or related discipline 18th Edition (BS7671) certification Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics Background in chemical, petrochemical, or high-hazard manufacturing environments Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise tasks Good level of computer literacy Desirable: CompEx (Ex01-Ex06) certification Experience working in ATEX / hazardous ..... full job details .....
