ECandI Engineer - ContractLocation: Cumbria - SellafieldRate: 45 per hourIR35: Outside IR35Contract Duration: 6 months initialSecurity Clearance: Active SC Clearance requiredAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an ECandI Design Engineer to support an established engineering company working on projects across Cumbria, including Sellafield.The role will involve working closely with Senior Designers to produce and update CAD drawings, assist with technical documentation and undertake site surveys.We are looking for someone with an ECandI background who is confident using CAD software and comfortable working both in an office environment and on site.Key ResponsibilitiesWork alongside Senior Designers to produce and update ECandI drawings using CAD software.Carry out CAD drafting and drawing modifications in line with engineering requirements.Attend Sellafield to undertake site surveys and gather technical information.Review existing drawings and update documentation to reflect site conditions.Assist with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and instrumentation drawings.Support the preparation of as-built drawings and technical documentation.Liaise with Senior Designers and site engineers to clarify drawing requirements.Ensure drawings are accurate and maintained in line with project requirements.Essential RequirementsPrevious experience in an ECandI, Electrical CAD or engineering drawing role.Confident using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.Basic understanding of ..... full job details .....
