Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Principal ECandI Engineer to be engaged on a permanent basis, located in Cumbria.ResponsibilitiesLead ECandI engineering teams in delivering innovative, high-quality solutions for complex, safety-critical projectsShape and maintain engineering delivery plans, prioritising Health, Safety, and Environmental complianceAct as Lead Engineer for design reviews, technical discussions, and formal engineering evaluationsProvide expert technical guidance to internal teams and clients, resolving complex engineering challengesMentor and develop engineering staff, setting objectives and fostering a collaborative, accountable cultureWork closely with Project Managers to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budgetServe as the primary technical interface with clients throughout the full project lifecycleWhat You Bring10+ years'' experience in ECandI design and engineering managementExpertise in at least two specialist areas such as Control Systems, Radiometrics, or Functional SafetyStrong knowledge of highly regulated industries, including design phases, configuration management, and lifecycle governanceDegree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering; advanced qualifications desirableExperience in laboratory facility design and nuclear systemsExpertise in HV/LV electrical distribution systems and modular building projectsPrevious involvement in projects with Sellafield Ltd or similar regulated nuclear ..... full job details .....
