ECandI Design Engineer

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a ECandI Design Engineer interested in opportunities on a contract basis, to be located near Chester.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed ECandI designs, drawings, and technical documentation.Specify and select electrical equipment, control panels, instruments, and cabling systems.Prepare control philosophies, loop diagrams, and single-line diagrams.Ensure designs comply with project specifications, standards, and regulations.Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and HVAC teams to ensure full system integration.Support design reviews, hazard assessments, and commissioning preparation.Provide technical support during installation, testing, and handover stages.
