EC&I Engineer - 12 Month Contract
Birmingham / Hybrid Working

Are you an EC&I Engineer who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle?
Do you have experience taking projects from front-end studies through to commissioning?
Are you comfortable working in highly regulated industrial environments where safety and compliance are critical?

-Outside IR35 contract

-Opportunity to work across concept, design and commissioning phases

What will you be doing?
-Supporting EC&I engineering activities across the full project lifecycle
-Delivering front-end engineering studies and concept designs
-Producing detailed EC&I design documentation
-Supporting HAZOPs and other safety reviews
-Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
-Supporting commissioning and on-site activities when required
-Ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations

Where will you be doing it?
You''ll be joining a well-established engineering business delivering complex projects within highly regulated industrial environments. Their teams work on technically demanding projects covering everything from early-stage studies through to full delivery and commissioning.

What you''ll need
-Experience working as an EC&I Engineer within industrial or process environments
-Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from FEED/concept through to commissioning
-Experience supporting or participating in HAZOP studies
-Experience producing EC&I design documentation
-Knowledge of control systems, instrumentation and electrical systems
-Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams
-Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
