EC&I Engineer

Astute''s Nuclear team is partnering with an engineering business with over 40 years'' experience across civil nuclear, defence and nuclear consultancy work to recruit an EC&I Engineer for its Chorley site.

The EC&I Engineer role comes with a salary between -45,000 - -55,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Principal EC&I Engineer you will:

• Produce of CE&I design concepts, e.g. (SLD''s, BCD''s, cable schedules, layouts, etc) and technical specifications.
• Produce of Commissioning documentation, e.g. FAT and SAT.
• Attend and witnessing of Commissioning activities.

- Produce and maintain quality records

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

- Engineering related qualification (HNC/HND/Beng/Meng)

Personal skills

The EC&I Engineer role would suit someone who has:

- Broad experience across design and manufacturing

- Design of electrical systems

- Low voltage control gear

- Ability to create and work from line diagrams.
