About this client/child: Cody (6) is a bright, creative, and emotionally intuitive little boy with a big imagination and a passion for crafts, cooking, construction, Lego, and all things Star Wars. He’s currently learning Mandarin—his idea! —which reflects his curiosity and eagerness to learn. Cody has been diagnosed with ADHD and thrives on consistency and routine. Transitions can be challenging for him (like turning off the TV or getting ready to leave the house), and when dysregulated, he may experience meltdowns, which can involve shouting or lashing out. He feels deeply—every day is either the best or the worst—and a calm, understanding presence helps him feel secure and grounded. His older sister, Violet (9), is a bright, creative, and confident girl who loves cats, Studio Ghibly and Anime. A nanny who can manage sibling dynamics with humour and sensitivity will be key.

Overview of role: This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and flexible Live-in SEN Nanny/Manny to join a vibrant, creative household and provide support for two school-aged children, one recently diagnosed with ADHD. The family are seeking someone who can bring calm to their busy, dynamic home—helping to manage schedules, coordinate holiday camps, and ensure the week ahead is well-organised and running smoothly. Mornings involve preparing breakfast, packing school bags, and school drop-off. The afternoons and evenings will include school pick-ups, trips to the park or after-school clubs, grocery shopping, preparing colourful, nutritious dinners, supporting reading or homework, creative projects, and winding down with the bedtime routine.

Who this job would suit: We are looking for an organised, proactive SEN Nanny/Manny to support a warm, creative family in their busy day-to-day life. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys bringing calm and structure to a dynamic household and is confident supporting a child with ADHD. The family is seeking someone who can think ahead—managing schedules, booking holiday clubs, and making sure the week runs smoothly. You’ll be the steady presence in the delightful chaos of family life: calm, capable, and full of initiative. A love for forward planning, promoting independence in children, and creating a nurturing, well-prepared environment is key.

What’s great about this job: Join a friendly, down-to-earth family who value genuine connection and offer a competitive package. Enjoy 22 days’ holiday plus bank holidays. Benefit from a spacious, self-contained ground floor flat, separate from the family home, offering comfort and privacy. A fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and rewarding environment!
