About the role: Astute''s Power Team is partnered with a global company, who specialise with the Energy from Waste industry, to recruit for an Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation (ECandI) Technicians to join their Energy from Waste Power Station in Fife, Scotland. The EfW will process 240,000 tonnes of waste per annum, exporting 21.5MW of electricity to the grid. The vital ECandI Technician role comes with a salary of 45,000 + 2,500 call out allowance + Bonus + Private Medical + Pension + Benefits. Responsibilities and duties: Reporting to the Senior ECandI Technician you will be responsible for:Carrying out fault diagnosis, repairs, planned and unplanned maintenance activities on all ECandI assets to maximise plant availability including pressure, level, temperature and flow sensors and control systems (DCS, PLCs) and electrical equipment.Assisting during major maintenance periods, shutdowns, outages etc. when required to ensure maximum plant availability and efficiency.Working alongside other technicians in the maintenance team in diagnosing faults and assisting/suggesting equipment upgradesMaintaining accurate maintenance records using the site CMMSSupervising and directing on site contractors when requiredWorking within the company health, safety and ..... full job details .....
