We are currently recruiting for experienced
Live-In Care Assistants
to join our caring and professional team in East Sussex.
About The RoleAs a Live-In Care Assistant, you will live in our customer’s home and provide tailored support to help them remain independent, safe, happy and comfortable in familiar surroundings. Live-in care gives our customers the advantage of full-time care and companionship within their home 24 hours a day. You will work with our customers and their families, to support them with their daily routines, enabling them to stay in the comfort and safety of their own home.
You will be providing a great deal of companionship as well as supporting their health and wellbeing, which will include helping them with daily living activities, such as making drinks, cooking, light domestic duties and some personal care.
Our Live-in Care Assistants are also a source of emotional support and friendship, so compassion and consistency are an essential part of being an outstanding carer.
Principal Responsibilities
Providing quality companionship
Support with daily routines and activities
Meal preparation and nutritional support
Help with washing and dressing
Light housekeeping and help with daily tasks
Promoting mobility, comfort, and safety in the home
Socialising, leisure activities, accessing the community
What we are looking forIt’s important to us that all of our Care Assistants have the following qualities:
Experience in supporting adults with dementia
Warm, caring, patient and sensitive
Self-motivated, well-organised and reliable
Good communication and observational skills
Committed to maintaining our highest standards of care
