Position: Early Years Inclusion Assistant Contract Type: Full-time Temporary Work Start Date: 12/10/2026 Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK Salary: 95 - 105 per day Salary depends on experience and qualifications. Higher rates apply to candidates with substantial experience and/or relevant training, such as a recognised Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Working closely with the class teacher, you will support Reception-age children individually and in small groups, including those with additional needs. Through practical activities, early reading and consistent routines, you will make learning accessible and help children feel included. This role suits a patient, proactive assistant with early years experience and a calm approach to behaviour support. The interview includes a short group reading activity, giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills with children. Requirements: Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar classroom support role. Experience supporting young children in an early years or primary setting.
