Early Years Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary) Northumberland, (North West of Newcastle) £515 - £610 per week January 2026 July 2026The School and RoleWe are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly, organised primary school in Northumberland area, close to Newcastle. Working as part of an established team, the desired Early Years Teaching Assistant will be supporting in their Nursery provision, delivering tailored support to the whole nursery as well as tailored one to one support when required. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am 4pm three days per week and 8.30am 6pm two days per week. There is flexibility in which days these times apply to. This school believes in an embedded creative curriculum in all areas of learning. The school is open to unqualified Teaching Assistants initially as long as they are willing to obtain their Level 3 however, they must have experience of working in the EYFS.
