Early Years Teaching Assistant

Early Years Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) - Llanrumney, North Cardiff

Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Llanrumney, North Cardiff
Pay: -88.94 per day (higher rates dependent on client rate, experience, and qualifications)
Contract: Temporary - Until the end of the academic year (July 2026)
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting teaching and learning in an Early Years setting

• Assisting with classroom activities and the general care of pupils

• Carrying out personal care duties, including nappy changing

• Working closely with the class teacher and other support staff

• Previous experience working within a Primary School setting (essential)

• Comfortable with and willing to carry out personal care tasks

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain)

• Registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)

• Able to commute easily to the Llanrumney, Cardiff area
