Teaching pupils in year 3 class (who are developmentally like Year 1 children) with autism and ADHD.My client school are looking for a teacher to teach small groups with autism and SEMH. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced teacher to join our team on a long-term basis. This role starts ASAP Duties and responsibilitiesPlan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school''s plans, curriculum, and schemes of work.Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessmentAdapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupilsSet high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupilsPromote good progress and outcomes by pupilsDemonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledgeParticipate in arrangements for preparing pupils for external tests Role and Responsibilities:The teacher will work 5 days a week from 8.30 am till 4 pm (not negotiable).The teacher will need to start as soon as possible.The right person will be responsible for handover and planning for the return for this term.The teacher will need to have experience or a qualification in teaching children.
