Pay Rate: £13.68 an hour

About Excell SupplyExcell Supply are recruiting SEN teaching assistants to work with children with various additional needs in schools, for day to day, short-term and long-term positions within school hours. These roles are on a supply basis and flexible to work around your schedule.

Responsibilities

Providing support to a child on a 1:1 basis

Promoting good behaviour and managing challenging behaviour

Aiding pupils in their learning as effectively as possible

Helping children with additional educational needs

Providing feedback on learning and development to the teacher

Creating and maintaining an orderly and supportive learning environment

Administrative tasks

Qualities and Requirements

Strong SEND experience

Passion for education

Friendly, positive and pro-active attitude

Team player

Experience working with Early Years

Good organisational and communication skills

Hold a level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification (Essential)
