Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant Runcorn Start Date: 5th January 2026 Contract: Full-time, until 22nd July 2026 Setting: Mainstream Primary SchoolTradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming mainstream primary school in Runcorn. This is a full-time role running until the end of the academic year.The position is a hybrid role, providing both:1:1 support for a pupil with Speech and Language (SandL) difficulties, helping them access learning, build confidence and develop communication skillsGeneral classroom support, assisting the class teacher with group work, behaviour, daily routines and whole-class activities as requiredThe Role Includes:Delivering tailored strategies to support Speech and Language developmentUsing visual aids, scaffolding and targeted interventionsSupporting personal, social and emotional development in the Early Years environmentAssisting with classroom setup, activities and maintaining a positive learning environmentWorking closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support teamThe successful candidate Will:Have experience working with Early Years children and pupils with SENHave, or willing to obtain an Enhanced Child Workforce DBSBe able to adapt to the needs of the child and the classHave strong communication skills and the confidence to work as part of a team Early Years SEN Teaching AssistantJake Wall - Tradewind Recruitment(url removed)(phone number ..... full job details .....
