Early Years Practitioner Level 2

About the Role
Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with a welcoming nursery in the Wirral who are looking to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children''s learning and development within a nurturing early years environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting children''s development through engaging activities, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years through play-based activities

• Assist with planning and delivering engaging early years activities

• Observe and record children''s progress and development

• Support children with daily routines including meals, toileting, and rest times

• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment

• Work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child''s individual needs

Requirements

• Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare

• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is desirable

• A caring, patient, and positive attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
