Early Years Practitioner

Our client, based in Surrey, is currently recruiting for two Early Years Practitioner on permanent contracts.The position is due to start immediately on a part-time basis. The role is for 25 hours a week over 4 days. The salary for the position is £26,872 (FTE).The ideal candidate will have experience working with children under the age of and their parents to foster positive environment in which the young person can thrive. This role offers a lot of creative freedom so would be attractive to an individual who is looking to put their stamp on the role.Duties will include (but are not limited to):Creating and delivering activities aimed and children under 5 and their parentsSignposting clients to third party services where necessaryCreating risk assessments to ensure the safety of staff and service usersEnsuring that safeguarding procedures are always followedBuilding parent resilience through delivery of servicesAssisting in the smooth running of the centreEnsuring that play materials, equipment and play spaces are maintained, kept safe and stored appropriately in line with current proceduresExperience required:Experience required working with childrenExperience planning and delivering sessions that build parental skillsSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Strong health and safety skillsCompliance and due diligenceRewards and Benefits:Flexible working daysWorking hours:25 hours per weekMonday - Thursday , 9:00-15:00, 3 Days p/wPlease note that you require recent ..... full job details .....
