PRINCIPAL DUTIESContribute to planning processes for the curriculum in line with local and national guidelines to meet the needs of children in an inclusive setting.Implement plans to deliver effective early years'' services, including setting up spaces, planning experiences, maintaining resources, supervising children, promoting hygiene, and providing nurturing interactions.Observe, record, and contribute to assessments and reporting on children''s progress.Liaise with parents, multidisciplinary teams, and other agencies.Support and guide college students, trainees, and new practitioners, and contribute to progress reports.Stay updated with curriculum initiatives and participate in training.This profile is indicative and not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Essential Qualifications

HNC in Childhood Practice/Childcare and Education, orSVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF 7 / SVQ 3 Children''s Care, Learning and Development, orSNNEB/NNEB with evidence of ongoing CPD in the past 5 years.All successful applicants must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of appointment and maintain registration throughout employment.Informal Enquiries
