Early Years Practitioner

Are you passionate about nurturing the development of young children? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner or a Level 3 TA for a long-term role, starting in September 2026, in one of our private day nurseries based in Harrogate. The position is for 1 term until Christmas.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and motivated Early Years Practitioner/Level 3 TA to become part of a supportive team that values creativity, inclusivity, and child-centred learning. You will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, social and educational development of children in the early years setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as an Early Years Practitioner within the nursery to support children''s learning and development
• Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Observe and asses individual progress, tailoring support to meet the needs of each child
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and staff
• Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment

Requirements:

• Relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
• Previous experience working as an Early Years Practitioner in a school or nursery setting
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A current DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
