An excellent opportunity for a passionate Early Years Nursery Practitioner to join a thriving nursery in Streatham in a permanent role.

Prior experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting and a minimum of a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for this Nursery Practitioner position. A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and a good attitude and passion for working in Early Years is very important.

Working full-time as an Early Years Nursery Practitioner, you will be:

• Planning and leading activities that will stimulate children''s imagination and creativity• Encouraging development through age-appropriate interactive play• Supporting children''s personal, social and emotional development from a young age• Assisting with early reading and early maths skills development, following the EYFS curriculum closely• Helping children to develop positive relationships and form/build on their social skills• Creating a learning environment that is supportive, stimulating and safe and allows every child to develop at their own pace

This is a permanent Early Years Nursery Practitioner position to start ASAP, and is full time to work 40 hours a week. The nursery is closed over Christmas and New Year, as well as 28 days of holiday per year.
