Location: St James, 4 Craven Terrace, London, W2 3QD
Hours: 15 hours per week during term time (with the opportunity to work up to 40 hrs per week during holiday clubs, if desired)
Operational Hours: Monday – Friday, 3pm – 6pm
Pay: £14 per hour
Contracts Available: Term Time

Responsibilities
Plan and execute structured and engaging activities (e.g., multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, structured play) that are age-appropriate and promote maximum participation.
Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies, including sign-in and sign-out processes.
Provide refreshments for the children.
Responsibilities as a JAG Playworker
Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere for children in our care, from school pick-up to safe delivery back to parents/caregivers.
Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver structured activities that encourage participation.
Ensure activities are age- and skill-appropriate while prioritising safety and proper use of equipment.
Provide refreshments while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
Set up and pack away play spaces and equipment as needed.
Maintain up-to-date health and safety documentation (e.g., accident/incident forms).
Ensure proper sign-in/sign-out procedures for all children in our care.
Communicate professionally with team members, parents, children, and schools.
Conduct regular equipment and kit safety checks and take a lead on health and safety, including first aid where necessary.
Keep all information about the children confidential and secure.
Inspire children and team members to lead an active lifestyle.
This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references (one from your most recent employer and one from a childcare setting, if applicable). A DBS check will be conducted on your behalf; please prepare the correct documentation. Qualifications
Essential Level 3 qualification.
