This rewarding role involves providing dedicated one-to-one support for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access learning opportunities, develop key social and communication skills, and thrive within an inclusive nursery environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider early years team to deliver tailored support, ensuring the child receives the encouragement and structure needed to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a child with SEN within an early years setting Supporting learning through play and adapting activities to meet individual needs Encouraging communication, social interaction, and emotional development Working alongside teachers and support staff to implement individual support plans Promoting independence and confidence in daily routines and activities Supporting with personal care where required Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment Recording observations and providing feedback on progress Ensuring safeguarding and welfare responsibilities are always met Requirements ..... full job details .....
