Early Years Capital Project Manager (Fixed Term)

29.6 hours per week Fixed Term up to 31 March 2027 that will require availability across four working days. Are you a skilled and passionate project manager, with broad experience of capital programmes, small and large with a good understanding of the childcare sector, including delivery of capital grant schemes? Would you like to play a crucial role in working on large and small childcare capital schemes supporting the sufficiency of the sector and in accessing grant opportunities available to enhance the quality and sufficiency of childcare provision across the county borough? This could be the role for you! We wish to recruit an experienced, knowledgeable and pro-active project manager, with successful experience of supporting capital programmes. As the Early Years Capital Project Manager, you will support and inform the strategic planning of new childcare facilities to meet local expansion requirements and take the lead role in ensuring the efficient and effective planning, project management and delivery of new childcare capital schemes. You will lead on the promotion, administration and monitoring of the small projects capital grant, with the aim of improving the quality of existing childcare facilities.
