We-are-currently-seeking-a-dedicated-Early-Years-BSL-Teaching-Assistant-to-join-a-specialist-hearing-impairment-school-in-Camden.-This-is-a-fantastic-opportunity-for-someone-passionate-about-supporting-young-learners-and-confident-in-using-British-Sign-Language-within-an-Early-Years-environment.

The-successful-Early-Years-BSL-Teaching-Assistant-will-work-closely-with-teachers-and-specialist-staff-to-support-pupils-with-hearing-impairments-in-their-learning,-communication,-and-social-development.-You-will-help-create-an-inclusive-and-engaging-environment-where-children-can-thrive-during-their-crucial-early-years-of-education.

Key-Responsibilities:

• Support-pupils-with-hearing-impairments-within-an-Early-Years-classroom
• Communicate-effectively-using-British-Sign-Language-(BSL)
• Assist-the-class-teacher-in-delivering-engaging-and-accessible-learning-activities
• Encourage-language-development,-communication,-and-social-interaction
• Provide-one-to-one-or-small-group-support-where-required
• Help-maintain-a-safe,-positive,-and-inclusive-learning-environment

Requirements:

• Minimum-BSL-Level-2-qualification-or-fluent-signing-ability
• Experience-working-with-children-in-an-Early-Years-setting
• A-patient,-nurturing,-and-supportive-approach
• Strong-communication-and-teamwork-skills
• A-genuine-passion-for-supporting-children-with-hearing-impairments

This-full-time-Early-Years-BSL-Teaching-Assistant-role-is-based-in-Camden-and-offers-the-opportunity-to-work-in-a-supportive-specialist-setting.
