Early Years Assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming private day nursery in Sheffield, who provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. The setting focuses on early development through play-based learning, encouraging curiosity and confidence in a safe and supportive space.

The nursery is looking to take on an Early Years Assistant on a short-term basis. The successful Early Years Assistant will be supporting children within the EYFS age range, assisting with daily routines, delivering engaging activities and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.

The successful Early Years Assistant will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
• Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A caring and patient nature
