Early Years assistant

Are you an enthusiastic Early Years Assistant who enjoys working with young children?

TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a number of private day nurseries based in Wakefield. The nurseries provide exceptional care and a range of stimulating learning opportunities, supporting children to develop key cognitive and motor skills through the EYFS curriculum.

The nurseries are looking for enthusiastic Early Years Assistants to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis, supporting children aged 6 months to 4 years. The successful Early Years Assistant will be eager to develop their Early Years knowledge, undertake relevant training and take a caring, flexible approach to supporting how children learn.

The successful Early Years Assistant will have:

• A minimum of six months’ experience working within the childcare sector
• Knowledge or an understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• A willingness to undertake training in areas such as Safeguarding and the EYFS curriculum
• An eagerness to learn new skills and develop knowledge of the Early Years sector
• A caring and positive approach to working with young children
• A flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning and development
