Early Years Assistant - SEN

Role Overview:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN TA to support a child with additional needs (ASD, speech delay, or sensory needs). You''ll assist with tailored activities and help build routine and communication skills. This is a part time position, starting as soon as possible and lasting for a year in the first instance.

About the Nursery:
Our inclusive nursery offers specialist provision for children with SEND. We provide a supportive and nurturing environment with small-group and 1:1 support led by an experienced SENCo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small group support

• Implement EHCP and therapy goals

• Use visual aids and SEN strategies (PECS, Makaton)

• Work closely with the SENCo and parents

Prerequisites:

• Experience working with SEND children

• Knowledge of EYFS and SEN strategies

• Calm, patient, and resilient approach

• Enhanced DBS check required
