Lisburn Sure Start is currently seeking to recruit a Early Years Assistant. The ideal candidate will be able to provide a range of coordinated services to families with children pre-birth up to the age of 4 years. As a member of the Sure Start team, you will be expected to offer flexible support and services to children aged 0 - 4 and their families, working across all venues. This service will include both group and individual work in a variety of settings - including community centres.Responsibilities

Provide coordinated services to families with children pre-birth to age 4 (0-4 years).Support flexible services to children and families across multiple settings, including group and individual work.Engage with services across venues such as community centres as part of a Sure Start team.Essential Criteria

Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Child Care qualification or equivalent (completed or working towards)1 year of paid or unpaid experience working in an early years setting5 GCSEs including English Language and Maths at Grade C or aboveClean driver''s licence and access to transportEmployment Details

Permanent - 25 hours per week£16,887 per annumApplication
