EandP Design Engineer

Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking engineering consultancy, is seeking a Principal or Senior EandP Design Engineer to join its growing design team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take ownership of complex, multi-disciplinary projects while mentoring and developing junior team members. You will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, primarily within rail and building services, with opportunities to contribute to energy-related schemes. The role offers a flexible hybrid working model.Key Responsibilities:Lead and deliver Low Voltage (LV) electrical and Mechanical and Electrical (MandE) design solutions across rail, building services, and energy projectsWork collaboratively within multi-disciplinary design teamsManage, mentor, and support members of the design team, aiding their technical and professional developmentProduce and review detailed engineering designs using industry-standard toolsEnsure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices, including CDM requirements where applicableContribute to project planning, coordination, and technical assuranceCommunicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholdersJob Requirements:Experience in Low Voltage / MandE designProven experience working on multi-disciplinary projectsStrong working knowledge of engineering design toolsIEng or CEng accredited with a relevant Engineering Institution, or actively working towards ..... full job details .....
