Help keep a major manufacturing site running safely and reliably Wolviston Management Services is proud to be working in partnership with Tioxide to recruit an Electrical and Instrument Technician for their Greatham site. This is a hands-on maintenance role where you will support the safe, reliable operation of plant electrical and instrumentation equipment. You will complete planned and emergent work, support fault diagnosis, carry out testing and commissioning, and help identify improvements that enhance plant stability, uptime and quality. You will work closely with the EandI Lead, EandI Supervisor and wider manufacturing teams in a complex process manufacturing environment. What you ll be doing You will: Complete planned and emergent electrical and instrumentation work to site standards. Report any non-conformances that could affect safety, quality or equipment reliability. Coordinate maintenance activity in line with safe systems of work, risk assessments and permit requirements. Carry out functional and evaluation tests on specialist instrument and electrical systems. Use systems such as MOD300, DeltaV and SAP to support fault diagnosis, reporting and maintenance records. Test and commission new or modified electrical and instrumentation systems. Respond effectively to planned and emergent I/E issues, selecting the right course of action and communicating clearly with supervisors.
