Duties and Responsibilities: * Coordinating and overseeing responses for children reported missing from home or care. * Monitoring and tracking missing episodes, identifying patterns, risks, and emerging safeguarding concerns. * Undertaking and coordinating Return Home Interviews to understand the reasons children go missing and reduce the likelihood of repeat episodes. * Working closely with social workers, police, education, health, carers, and other partner agencies to safeguard vulnerable children. * Identifying and responding to risks associated with child exploitation, contextual safeguarding, and extra-familial harm. * Contributing to risk assessments, safety planning, and multi-agency safeguarding interventions. * Maintaining accurate records, reports, and performance data in line with statutory requirements and local procedures. * Providing advice, guidance, and support to professionals involved with children who go missing.
