You''ll teach learners whose first language is not English, helping them build confidence and develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. You''ll deliver classes to groups at a range of levels, with some small-group and one-to-one support where needed.Thisi is hybrid timetable consisting of 2 hours in a classroom and the remainder online. Key responsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging ESOL lessons across Entry Level and Level 1-2 Carry out initial and ongoing assessment of learners'' English language skillsPrepare learners for ESOL qualifications and examsTrack progress and maintain accurate records and individual learning plansAdapt resources and teaching approaches to suit mixed-ability groups and diverse learner backgroundsSupport learners with everyday English, employability skills and integration into the communityContribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environmentAbout youQualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essentialExperience teaching ESOL is highly desirableA recognised TEFL/CELTA or ESOL subject-specific qualification is advantageousStrong knowledge of language acquisition and effective ESOL teaching strategiesExcellent communication and classroom management skillsA patient, creative and encouraging approachA genuine ..... full job details .....
