DV Cleared Network Engineer - Crypto

Location: Stevenage (4 days per week onsite)Duration: 12-month initial contractIR35: Inside IR35Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours a day to be completed between 07:00-19:00) Active DV clearance required Role details:We are looking for a DV Cleared Network Engineer to support our defence client on a contract basis. This contract role will focus on network infrastructure, security, service support and crypto management within a high-profile technical environment. Key Responsibilities:Provide dedicated network support at the Stevenage site, with Bolton and Bristol also within scope.Support the effective delivery, maintenance and continuous improvement of network services.Own the remediation of identified network issues and risks, using reports and technical intelligence.Support business initiatives as part of the wider network engineering team.Build effective relationships with partners and external suppliers to optimise service delivery.Work with security teams on security reporting, risk analysis and network assurance.Collaborate with service management and network service teams to meet agreed requirements.Work with crypto network specialists on crypto management and technical support.Job Requirements:Active DV Clearance.Professional background in information technology and network engineering.CCNA or CCNP qualification, or equivalent technical capability.Demonstrable crypto experience and a strong understanding of crypto best practice.Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ..... full job details .....
