This is a hands-on and design-oriented role for a technical specialist who can work autonomously while contributing across a small team and supporting wider project workstreams. You will be responsible for evaluating, designing and developing secure infrastructure solutions across virtualisation, client hardware and operating systems. Key Responsibilities Take responsibility for the evaluation and development of Windows client OS infrastructure, from initial concept through to technical handover. Evaluate and manage client hardware, including vendor support, vulnerability mitigation and End-of-Life planning. Evaluate, design and deploy hypervisor solutions to support system requirements. Create secure Windows 10/11 Gold Image builds, with security as the primary consideration. Harden operating systems by disabling non-essential services and telemetry to reduce the potential attack surface. Apply appropriate vendor, NCSC and equivalent security standards.
