Exciting Opportunity as Night Transport Duty Manager at London Heathrow! Join one of the world''s leading cargo handlers as a Transport Duty Manager at London Heathrow. In this role, you will oversee a team of 5/6 and around 50 trucks and drivers, reporting directly to the UK Transport Manager. Your key responsibilities include managing operations, ensuring compliance, enhancing communication, and prioritizing customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate efficient coordination across all operational areas. - Inspire and empower planners to lead their driver teams effectively. - Ensure adherence to transport laws and safety regulations. - Supervise communication channels within the transport operation. - Identify and implement strategies for enhanced efficiency and performance. - Uphold a secure environment for team members and assets. - Lead and manage a team of approximately 50 drivers and planners. - Meet KPIs related to compliance, service quality, and financial targets. - Uphold statutory and company safety standards. Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of transport management experience in a multi-site setting. - Profound understanding of airfreight distribution. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and set clear objectives. - Adaptability to organizational changes. - National/International CPC holder (Essential). - Preferably hold ADR, Hazardous Awareness, and Cargo Operations training.
