Job Title: Highways Labourer / Dumper Operative
Location: Northwest England
Start Date: From 7th April (Approx. 5-6 Weeks Initially)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Highways Labourer / Dumper Operative to join our team on a short-term contract starting from 7th April. The role will involve supporting highway works across the Northwest, with an initial duration of 5-6 weeks and potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general highways labouring duties on site
- Operate dumper machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with site setup, clearance, and material movement
- Follow all health & safety guidelines and site procedures
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience in highways or civil works
- Valid dumper ticket/certification
- Good understanding of site health & safety practices
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
