Overview We are seeking skilled and reliable Duct Mates to join our team for a project in London. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in ductwork installation, including galvanised and fire-rated systems. The position is for a minimum of 3 months, with 8 hours of paid work per day. Candidates must hold the required certifications and demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of ductwork systems, including galvanised and fire-rated ducts.
• Support the lead duct fitter in measuring, cutting, and assembling duct components.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Perform other related tasks as required by the project supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card.
• IPAF certification.
• Mates Card.
• Proven experience in ductwork installation, particularly with galvanised and fire-rated systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Day-to-Day

• Report to the site supervisor at the start of each shift.
• Assist in the preparation and installation of ductwork materials.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Address any challenges or issues promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to all site safety protocols and guidelines.
