Duct fitter

We are looking for an experienced Duct Fitter who is confident installing galvanised ductwork on commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Install galvanised ductwork to drawings and specifications
• Measure, position and assemble ductwork accurately
• Fit rectangular and spiral ductwork, bends, branches, dampers and associated components
• Install brackets, supports, flanges and fixings
• Complete alterations and remedial works where required
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on site
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety
• Report installation issues or drawing discrepancies promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Duct Fitter
• Strong experience working with galvanised ductwork
• Able to read and understand technical drawings
• Confident working independently and as part of a team
• Own hand tools and appropriate PPE
• Valid CSCS or relevant skills card
• IPAF or PASMA would be advantageous
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual and professional
