This role offers an exciting opportunity to support practical learning in subjects such as woodwork, metalwork, graphics, and food technology.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain equipment, tools, and materials for DT lessonsSupport teaching staff and students during practical sessions and demonstrationsEnsure all health and safety regulations are followed in workshops and classroomsCarry out routine maintenance of machinery and equipmentMonitor stock levels and assist with ordering resourcesContribute to departmental displays and provide support during school events when requiredRequirements:Strong organisational and problem-solving skillsA proactive, flexible, and safety-conscious approachExcellent communication skills and the ability to work well with staff and studentsA genuine interest in Design and Technology and a willingness to learnA valid Enhanced DBS on the Update ServiceDesirable (but not essential):Previous experience as a DT Technician or in a school-based roleFamiliarity with workshop tools, materials, and safe working practicesThis ..... full job details .....
