This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting outstanding teaching and learning within the Design and Technology department.The successful candidate must have recent experience working as a DT Technician within a UK secondary school, having undertaken a similar role within the last two years.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare materials, tools and equipment for practical DT lessons.Maintain workshops and specialist teaching areas to a high standard.Support teachers and students across a range of DT disciplines, including Resistant Materials, Product Design, Engineering and Graphics.Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and stored safely.Assist with stock control, ordering and organisation of resources.Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and equipment.Support the implementation of health and safety procedures within the department.Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with current health and safety regulations.Provide technical support for practical demonstrations ..... full job details .....
