We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to work in Secondary schools across East Sussex.Whether you''re an experienced DT teacher or an ECT, we have flexible roles to match your availability and career goals.Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)Teach across DT specialisms including Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, or Food Technology (depending on your expertise)Ensure safe and effective use of tools, equipment, and materialsManage classroom behaviour and maintain a focused learning environmentSupport students in developing practical skills and creative thinkingCollaborate with department colleagues to plan and assess student progress What We re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a DT specialismExperience teaching Design and Technology at secondary levelStrong classroom and behaviour management skillsKnowledge of health and safety procedures within a workshop or DT environmentA current, enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What We ..... full job details .....
