We are currently supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Haringey in their search for an enthusiastic and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will foster creativity, develop practical skills, and encourage students to apply innovative thinking through hands-on learning experiences.
The Role
- Teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and practical lessons.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress and achievement.
- Create a positive and well-managed learning environment.
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the success of the department.
- Uphold safeguarding and promote the wellbeing of all students.
- Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching DT within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Is passionate about inspiring young people through practical learning.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is committed to achieving positive outcomes for all learners.
