The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about practical learning and able to engage students of all abilities in a safe, well-managed workshop environment.The Role Full-time DT teaching position in a secondary school Immediate start available Teaching KS3 and KS4 Design and Technology Delivering engaging practical and theory lessons Strong focus on Woodwork/Resistant Materials Ability to teach additional DT disciplines such as Product Design, Construction, Engineering or Graphics would be advantageous Maintaining high standards of behaviour and workshop safetyWe Are Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent Experience teaching Design and Technology in a secondary setting Confident delivering Woodwork/Resistant Materials lessons Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Passion for practical, hands-on learning Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Why Work with Aspire People?
