We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Design & Technology and Food Technology Teacher to join our successful secondary school in North London from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 for a suitably qualified candidate.

The successful applicant will be committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that develop students'' creativity, technical skills, problem-solving abilities and understanding of nutrition, food preparation and healthy living.

You will:

• Teach Design & Technology and Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and deliver challenging, engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Foster a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students in developing practical, technical and analytical skills.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
• Monitor, assess and report on student progress effectively.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking department.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Design & Technology and/or Food Technology in a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical learning.
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is committed to raising achievement and supporting student wellbeing.
• Can contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
