Drug and Alcohol Sub Misuse Recovery Worker

Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Substance Misuse Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker for a leading Drug and Alcohol Criminal Justice Substance Misuse Recovery Service based in SY1 Post Code Area of Shrewsbury in Shropshire, who is really passionate about providing a personal recovery service. This role is working full time with standard hours 37.5 hours per week Monday Friday 9am-5pm. The post holder will support a caseload of Clients of all ages; undertaking assessments, developing person centred recovery plans and running evidence-based substance misuse interventions in groups and on a 1:2:1 basis. You will deliver interventions both onsite face to face and via telephone / video technology where appropriate. You will also spend time supporting the Probation / Prison Teams working alongside Education Providers, Supported Housing Organisations and Social Services, going the extra mile to help achieve sustainable positive behaviour changes.
