We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Drivers Mate to join a professional removals team in Sheffield. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a team.
Duties:
- Loading and unloading vehicles and storage containers.
- Handling customers' belongings with care and professionalism.
- Assisting with home and commercial moves.
- Following company procedures and Health & Safety guidelines.
- Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Positive attitude and team player mentality.
- Previous removals or logistics experience is desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- 40 hours per week, typically 07:30–16:30 (1-hour lunch).
- 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday rota.
- Rotas generally provided in advance.
- Weekend working on a rotational basis.
- Overtime paid after 40 hours.
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (33 days total).
- Full training provided.
