Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding andamp; Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

We''re looking for full-time, Drivers Mates to join us at our site in Chepstow. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

What you''ll do on a typical day:

• Assist with white goods deliveries, accompanied by a driver''s mate.
• Execute two types of deliveries: home deliveries and kerbside deliveries.
• For home deliveries, transport items to the customer''s room of choice, including carrying items to homes that may be several stories high.
• For kerbside deliveries, hand off items directly to individuals on building sites.
• Deliver items such as white goods (e.g., dishwashers, washing machines, fridges), kitchen units, and worktops.
• Handle multidrop deliveries, with the number of stops varying daily.
• Use a handheld scanner and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Physical fitness is essential for this role due to the nature of the work.
• Strong communication skills and a positive demeanour are required for direct interaction with customers.

What you need to succeed with our client:

• Cat B licence preferred.
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• Multidrop delivery experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• A can-do attitude.
